Q & AAsk a Question
What is the material, metal or plastic?
The propeller is plastic but the Cruise 2.0/4.0 shaft is metal and is splined. The splined shaft is strong so if the propeller impacts anything in the water the blades of the prop become the sacrifical part to reduce the chance of damage to the shaft, motor, or other associated driveline parts. This is different from smooth shafts that have a sacrificial shear pin.
