Torqeedo's Cruise 3.0 electric outboard motor brings 3 kW of electric power to propel your boat with a new lightweight and more efficient motor design.  The Cruise 3.0 is equivalent to a 6 hp gasoline outboard.

Details

  • 3 kW continuous power – propulsion like a 6 HP combustion engine
  • The Cruise 3.0 is recommended for dinghies and sailboats up to 3 tons.
  • Remote and tiller steered versions available in both short and long shaft lengths
  • Intelligent on-board computer and all of the convenience of a Torqeedo electric drive system
  • Rugged aluminum pylon with reinforced fin – extra robust even when running aground.
  • Shaft sealant rings mounted in protected area on the inside of the pylon.
  • Highest-grade seawater-proof aluminum (AlMgSi1), hard-anodized for long service life, even in the harshest conditions.
  • Lubricant-free polymer plain bearings protect against damage from fishing lines or debris and provide improved mechanical support for propeller shaft – wear-resistant and maintenance-free.
  • Comprehensive galvanic corrosion protection through careful matching of all materials and meticulous isolation of materials with different electrochemical properties.
  • Aluminum fin coated in polyurethane foam provides additional protection from impact when running aground.
